TAKIRON Corporation (hereinafter “Company”; please refer to the Corporate Overview for the Company’s address and representative's name) believes it is the Company’s social responsibility to protect the names, addresses, and other personal information (hereinafter “personal information) provided by its customers, business partners, shareholders, and others. In addition to observing the laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information, the Company works to properly protect and manage personal information as explained below.
1.Use of Personal Information
The Company uses personal information only for the following purposes and as necessary to carry out the Company’s business.
(1) Personal information of business partners
- To provide the Company’s products and services
- To provide and propose information regarding the Company’s products and services
- To plan and develop the Company’s products and services, and carry out surveys regarding the use of the Company’s products and services
- To make necessary contact and inquiries, as well as business negotiations for work

- To implement other necessary matters for recruitment and application activities

2.Providing Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s prior consent, except in the cases below.
- When requested according to law to provide personal information
- When it is necessary to protect people's lives, bodies, or assets, and it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent
- When it is particularly necessary to improve public hygiene or advance the healthy rearing of children and it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government organization or local government, or a person who has been commissioned by such an organization to carry out work specified by laws and regulations, and there is the possibility that obtaining the individual’s consent would result in the hindrance of such work

content, family structure, salary information, housing situation, etc.
4.Security Management of Personal Information
To prevent leaks, loss, damage or destruction of, or unlawful access to, personal information, the Company strives for necessary and appropriate security management as follows.
(1) Formulation of basic policies
- The Company has formulated this privacy policy to ensure proper handling of personal information, defining matters such as "compliance with relevant laws and guidelines" and "security management measures."
(2) Establishment of discipline for handling personal information
- For each stage of acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal, the Company has established internal rules regarding the handling of personal information, including the methods, responsible persons/persons in charge, and their duties.
(3) Organizational security management measures
- The Company has established internal rules regarding the management of personal information and clarified the responsibilities of persons to be responsible for the personal information management.
- The Company has established a reporting and communication system to the responsible persons in case a fact or sign of violation of the above internal rules or Act on the Protection of Personal Information is discovered.
- The responsible persons regularly conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of employees handling personal information.
(4) Human security management measures
- The Company has established internal rules regarding the confidentiality management of personal information.
- The Company provides internal training on matters to be aware of for the safe handling of personal information.
(5) Physical security management measures
- The Company prevents unauthorized access to personal information by locking the areas where personal information is handled and managing entry and exit.
- The Company has established rules to prevent the theft and leakage of documents and electronic media containing personal information and ensure that employees are aware of these rules.
(6) Technical security management measures
- The Company implements measures to protect personal information, such as restricting access rights to personal information and preventing unauthorized access from the outside.
(7) Understanding of the external environment
- When handling personal data in foreign countries, the Company implements security measures after understanding the system for protecting personal information in the foreign country where the personal information is stored. For details, please ask us at the contact below.

The Company continually reviews and strives to improve its initiatives regarding the protection of personal information.

For requests about the disclosure, purpose of use, correction, addition, deletion, erasure, stoppage of use, stoppage of provision to third parties, disclosure of third-party provision records (hereinafter together referred to as “disclosure, etc.”) of personal information held by the Company, or complaints regarding the handling of personal information, or other inquiries regarding personal information, please contact the following department.
